Taking the Show on the Road

While hired to perform a radio ad for The Next Street’s recruitment campaign, Mandy Thompson said to her colleague during recording how it sounded like a great place to work. After the session, she ended up calling in, asked for an interview, and the rest is history- Mandy is currently one of our outstanding instructors who divides her time between stoplights and spotlights.

A graduate of Emerson College with a degree in Acting & Theater Education, Mandy utilizes all aspects of her background as a professional actress and an educator of theater… her skills translate flawlessly into driving instruction. From memorizing techniques to the  delivery of them, Mandy has a youthful, energetic, and innate ability to connect with her students.

Being a highly social extrovert, meeting several new students a day is a highlight for Mandy. Often times, her worlds will collide and she will get students that participate in their high school drama departments.  Her involvement with local theater groups, such as Seven Angels Theater in Waterbury, connects her to the community and allows her to relate even further to students.

Mandy channels her creativity by working closely with the marketing department, creating both educational tutorials as well as more comical, creative pieces, featuring a character she created- Eunice Turns. Eunice is an enthusiastic thespian, bridging  musical theater to driving lessons while waiting for her big break.
